AGHBALO
AGHBALO – The Taste of Moroccan Heritage For this project, we had the pleasure of capturing AGHBALO, a refined pack of rare Moroccan treasures: wild honey and aged butter, locally known as smen or oghi. Sourced from traditional rural cooperatives, AGHBALO blends purity, tradition, and luxury into one unique offering. Our role was to translate this ancestral richness into visuals that speak to both authenticity and elegance. Through a carefully styled product shoot, we emphasized the textures, golden hues, and artisanal nature of the ingredients. The result is a visual tribute to Moroccan culinary heritage, aimed at connecting premium branding with deep cultural roots.

The shoot was done using natural light near sunset, to bring out the warm golden tones of the honey and aged butter.
We used raw wood, clay, and woven textures as props to evoke the rural Moroccan setting.
Aged smen had to be cooled during the shoot to maintain its shape and consistency under studio heat.
The smell in the room? A potent mix of honey and smen — strong, but weirdly nostalgic.
Some of the jars had handwritten labels, which added a raw, artisanal charm we leaned into visually.
The team sourced actual elements from the region—woven baskets, local jars, traditional trays—to keep the authenticity intact.
